He is not, in fact, the Batman. Or IS HE? (He's not.)

Oh my gosh, I was just over at El Goonish Shive (checking to see if the latest comic was up yet) when I saw your giant-sock-race add thing.

Do you have ANY idea how many people would buy a giant sock for sack races?!

Neither do I, you should do poll or something.

I wouldn’t expect that up anytime soon (check Dan’s Twitter for the tumblr link). I’m honestly surprised I got the latest Wotch update with the DNS issues over there.

Ah thanks. I figured something was up with the server when I couldn’t get at the site for a while, but I’m not that connected via twitter, etc.

On the upside, I can actually get to the site now, so yay! I will continue staring at Friday’s page every few hours until it updates.

I can barely deal with MESS and Lit Brick updating at 10 (no Savings time for me) as it is!

I NEED MY FIX, SHIVE! I NEED IT!

Or he might have heard you yelling “I’m Basil Flint, PI” like, 30 seconds ago. Just saying.

Basil, no. That’s a good way to get yourself killed. You just know the construction workers who built the bat cave were never heard from again.

      That was Luthor Island.
The bat cave was legitimately a cave he found.
      Bruce did the construction himself.

I find it unlikely that while he was learning how to master every skill in the world, Bruce had time to perform heavy construction single-handedly.
Interestingly, a Batman novel addressed the issue: non-English speaking foreign workers brought in by private plane and supervised by Alfred in disguise. After being paid, they were shipped back home.
Don’t know if that’s considered “canon,” but given how far from his origins Batman has come, I would buy it.
